Peter Gelius is a research associate at the Department of Sport Science and Sport at Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg, Germany, and co-director of its WHO Collaborating Centre for Physical Activity and Public Health. He has a Ph.D. in political science and a research doctorate in sport science.
His main expertise is in PA policy development and monitoring, participatory approaches in PA, and structure and agency in health promotion. He has been involved in various projects to monitor and evaluate PA policy at the local, national, and international level, and has been collaborating with the EU and WHO around policy monitoring since 2014.

Philipp Lahm, one of Germany’s most successful footballers, was born in Munich on 11th Nov 1983.
He played for Germany in 113 international matches between 2004 and 2014, and captained the national team that won the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil. For over a decade he was a regular and an icon of his home team FC Bayern, with whom he won 21 titles; in 2011 he was made captain and led the team to numerous honours including the 2013 treble – the UEFA Champions League, the Bundesliga (German league cup) and the DFB cup (German cup). He is known as Mr. Fairplay, as he did not receive a single red card in 757 games and did not serve a suspension.
In December 2017 he was the sixth player to be named honorary captain of the German national team. In the same month he was appointed honorary ambassador for Germany's bid to host the UEFA Euro 2024. Since June 2019 he has been one of two managing directors in the DFB Euro GmbH and, as tournament director, is preparing the 2024 European Championship in Germany.
In 2007 he founded the Philipp Lahm Foundation for Sport and Education. He is chairman of the organization and actively involved in promoting and running its projects, especially the Philipp Lahm Summer Camp and Philipp Lahm School Tour. In his projects Philipp Lahm Summer Camp, Philipp Lahm School Tour as well as Soccer in Philippi and Shongi Soccer and the newly initiated project Treffpunkt Fußball, he is committed to equal opportunities and participation.

Ronan O’Laoire is a Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice Officer working for the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) where he is responsible for the UNODC Programme on Safeguarding Sport from Corruption and Economic Crime.
Since taking on his current role in 2018, the Programme has supported over 9500 officials from criminal justice authorities, sports organizations and the private sector in 130 countries to tackle corruption and economic crime in sport.
These has been achieved by: developing and launching technical guides, policy papers, and publications, including the UNODC Global Report on Corruption in Sport; contributing to the work of the G20 Anti-Corruption Working Group; supporting the establishment of the International Partnership Against Corruption in Sport; and organizing and delivering over 250 national and regional capacity building and awareness raising activities with key partners, including INTERPOL, IOC, FIFA, the International Cricket Council, and World Rugby. Mr. O’Laoire has nearly 20 years of experience in public service on issues linked to multilateral affairs, drug trafficking, disarmament, anti-corruption, and criminal justice. He holds graduate degrees from Trinity College Dublin and Sciences-Po Paris and has also studied at l’Ecole spéciale militaire de Saint-Cyr and the George Washington University’s School of Business.
